Before we can build our new homes we first have to purchase the land. This activity is vital to the continued success of Millgate.
Achieving planning permission for new homes in sensitive areas can be a both a complicated and stressful undertaking for a land owner.
My role is to facilitate the granting of planning permission by working with respected local architects and planning consultants to develop a solution that is sympathetic to the locality and existing residents.
When looking for potential new sites our main focus is Winchester and the surrounding area. We will also consider sites across Hampshire and in neighbouring counties.
Our focus is on small and exclusive developments. Typically we replace one existing dwelling with four or five new homes.
Our preference is to purchase sites subject to planning permission being obtained. We agree an option with the owner of the land and then finance the process of obtaining planning permission.
We will also consider a proposal which involves the land owner working with us through the development in a joint venture arrangement.
