Meet The Team

Adrian Surtees – Director

Adrian is our director with ultimate responsibility for all construction and engineering decisions within Millgate.

Adrian has a wealth of experience in solving construction challenges. He applies his focus and tenacity to every detail of each of our projects so that our houses are designed and built to a level of quality rarely found elsewhere in newly built homes.

When not working, Adrian is to be found windsurfing, ideally in a force 8 gale!

Rob Carter – Director

With Adrian focused on the construction side of Millgate, Rob has ownership of all off site activities.

These include site aquisition, planning, finance and sales and marketing.

When not working, Rob is to be found on a mountain bike, ideally half way up a mountain in France!

James Rockett – Project Manager

James is the calm and collected manager of all that takes place on site. James has an eye for detail and a determination to make sure that the quality of the houses we build is second to none.

When not working James is to be found relaxing with a glass of red wine, ideally with a roast dinner not far away!

Jon Beard – Carpenter

Jon is a vital member of the Millgate team. Jon keeps the sites running smoothly by quickly and efficiently solving any challenges that arise. Jon also takes a lead role in the fitting of all the kitchens in our new homes, ensuring that all aspects are finished correctly before the house is handed over to the new owners.

When not working Jon is to be found changing nappies! Congratulations Jon and Jenny!
